Hi! I’m Mieke, a Tasmanian photographer drawn to golden light, real connection, and the kind of moments that feel like home.
I’m based on the beautiful North-West Coast of Tasmania, where the beaches, bush trails, and wild weather shape the way I see the world. My work blends documentary-style storytelling with an eye for the small, honest moments — the in-between glances, the messy giggles, the wind-in-the-hair moments you didn’t realise you’d treasure.
I photograph Tasmanian weddings, family and lifestyle sessions, children, travel stories, and the beautiful everyday lives people want to remember. Whether we’re chasing sunset at Turners Beach, exploring the forest, or celebrating your big day surrounded by the people you love, my goal is always the same: to tell your story in a way that feels real, warm, and true to you.
